The Kei Kamara HeartShapedHands Foundation (HSH) was founded to provide scholarships to schools and students in Kei’s home country of Sierra Leone, West Africa. The funds raised by the foundation go directly to schools and students to help offset the costs of education. School in Sierra Leone is not free to the public, and most young people are unable to continue their education beyond primary school due to funding constraints. Scholarships are provided to a number of identified students who demonstrate a willingness to continue their education and a commitment to success. Additional scholarships are also given to individual schools for teaching supplies, equipment and necessary safety repairs to create a better learning environment for its students. Nicole serves on the Board of Directors for HSH with a goal of supporting the organization's efforts for expanding the program and building a Sports Academy in Sierra Leone. heartshapedhands.com
